Wanna be a health coach? I can help.

My dream career started 11 months ago:

I was waiting tables during the day, dancing burlesque at night, & supposedly pursuing an acting career that was going nowhere. I felt aimless & confused about how I was supposed to live a passionate life when none of my passions were making me a living.

Around that same time, Vegans Taste Better started to really take off. I was getting more & more comments on some of my healthy dessert recipes with questions about why certain ingredients were better for you than others. I was more than happy to answer these questions with my degree from the school of Google, but it got me thinking: what if I knew even more about health & wellness? Wouldn't that be a great career? After all, I was already spending most of my free time researching & reading about holistic healing, why not get some sort of certification for my vast knowledge?

That's when I found the Institute for Integrative Nutrition®.

As I went about the process of collecting information, I braced myself for sticker shock when I asked how much the year-long training would cost me. I was shocked to learn that it was only $5000 [with plenty of scholarship & discount opportunities making it much cheaper]. That's a third of the cost of my online digital design degree [which basically consisted of lessons copied out of Adobe Classroom in a Book].

What did I get for this great price? So much more than I'd expected:

Obviously, I enrolled.

And today, just a few months shy of my graduation & a full AADP certification, I have 7 happy, healthy clients whom I adore. I feel fulfilled every day knowing that what I'm doing for my living is helping others live better. I will be posting client success stories in the near future so I don't want to spoil the surprise, but I will say that helping people gain confidence & take control of their own health is an amazing job to have.

Why am I sharing all of this? Because I want to help others find the same fulfillment.

If any of you reading this post are thinking that you wish this was your career story...it can be. I love my school so much that I'm what they call an ambassador for the program; I share my story with potential students, answer any questions they might have, then refer them to the admissions experts at IIN to start the enrollment process.

Are you a potential student? Let's Talk. Or, you can click on the link above to learn more about changing the world, one healthy client at a time.

But even if you don't fit into either of the above categories, I want thank you for reading this blog. After all, it's my readers that inspired me to take this leap in the first place. ♥
